1, Introduction to three-phase transformers
A three-phase transformer is a type of power equipment that converts high voltage into low voltage, or low voltage into high voltage. Usually formed by combining three independent single-phase transformers, each with its own iron core, winding, and insulation material, capable of withstanding independent power sources and supplying power together with the other two single-phase transformers.
2, Components of three-phase transformers
1. Iron core
The iron core is one of the most important components of three-phase transformers. Usually composed of thousands of thin iron cores, its main function is to wrap the magnetic flux lines around the winding, allowing for voltage transformation.
2. Winding
The winding is another important component of a three-phase transformer. It is usually composed of many insulated wires, mainly used to convert voltage into a magnetic field, in order to generate magnetic flux lines in the iron core. There are two types of coils in the winding: one is the main coil, and the other is the secondary coil.
3. Insulation materials
Insulation materials are an indispensable component in three-phase transformers. They are mainly used for isolation, insulation, and fixing of iron cores and windings. Insulation materials typically use various high-pressure adhesives, hard adhesives, and plastics.
